Generation GIVE
About Generation GIVE
Generation GIVE is developing the next
generation of philanthropists and community
leaders in Northwest Arkansas.
Members exemplify the best Northwest Arkansas
has to offer in the form of young professionals
who use their spirit and resources for the
betterment of our community.
In 2010, Generation GIVE is focusing on
education. In July, members installed the first
Born Learning Trail in NWA to benefit early
childhood education in NWA. They also connected
with the community through various other
volunteer and educational activities, including
collecting school supplies with United Way’s
Stuff the Bus initiative and packing snack packs
at the Samaritan Community Center for
food-insure children.
Through Generation GIVE you can…

importance of civic engagement.

Who can become a member?
Community oriented individuals 45 and younger
who contribute $100 per household or more
annually to the United Way of Northwest
Arkansas.

Leadership Opportunities
You can be involved with Generation GIVE in
several ways. As a general member, you will
receive inside information about what’s going on
at United Way, initiations to volunteer, social,
and professional development events.
Steering committee members take their commitment
to the next level by meeting on a monthly basis
to plan programs and initiatives.
